Essentials for S/S18: The Midi Dress

Hello everyone!

While everyone’s happy and seeing Beyoncé at Coachella, I’m just here…hangin’ in London worrying about my dissertation. It’s due in 3 weeks and I have nothing done LOL BUT ANYWAYS. Gosh I’m so happy this week because of all the sun we’re getting here in London! It’s been SUPER HOT HERE, it’s weird now because I’m wishing for it to be colder…Now that I have sun, I kinda want the cold back. Ok, I’m weird I know. But there’s like this love-hate relationship with the weather.

I’m starting a series called “Essentials for S/S18”, so I’ll be posting different outfit essentials that is perfect for spring and summer this year!

Anyways, today, I’m sharing you an outfit that’s super comfy and perfect for spring. Actually, it’s perfect for summer as well. Well it’s a win-win.

You can wear this outfit to the beach, lunch, or whatever floats your boat. This dress is so comfy and it has pockets! I know, I’m a sucker for pockets because I always need it to put my phone. You can never go wrong with a midi dress – even if you’re 157cm. I used to hate ANYTHING midi because I thought it made me look short. But nope, it actually looks super cute! Pair your midi dress with some cute accessories like a beret and a mini bag for a day out. And it’s a bonus that this rustic beige color is also SO in trend as well!

Dress from Urban Oufitters
Shoes from Pedro
Beret from Japanese brand (similar)
Belt from Gucci
Bag from Louis Vuitton (similar)

In case you guys aren’t too fond of the dress, here are some options that I’m loving for midi dresses: option 1, option 2, and option 3.

The outfit is simple yet gives you a very “pretty” feel to it. I can’t wait to wear this dress to the beach when I’m travelling! It’s so flowy, perfect for the hot weather.

Anyways, I’m going to end it here guys. I have to catch up with my dissertation, so if I’m a bit MIA for the next week or so – just know that I’m doing my dissertation and will be back online VERY VERY SOON!

See you sooon.
