I’m back with another post and this week, it’s all about London Fashion Week!
Yep, I did it. I checked off my MAIN bullet point in my to-do list when I first came to London. I came to London having one goal and it was to attend London Fashion Week as a blogger, and this year – I finally did it! I was invited to London Fashion Week as a blogger. This sounds super narcissistic but I’M SO PROUD OF MYSELF. All my hard work that I’ve put into building my Instagram and Blog has finally paid off.
Okay, enough with the story – let’s get onto it. I’ll put Day 1 and Day 2 in here and Day 3 and 4 into the next post.
Disclaimer: Photos of the runway collections are all taken by me.
On the first day, I had an early morning because I had a presentation to attend. Honestly, last week was the busiest and most tiring week yet. I had Valentine’s Day, my bf’s birthday the day after and LFW the day after that! It was CRAZY. I had an early morning EVERYDAY. I wasn’t even organising any shows for LFW (I did for SS18), and I was already so tired from changing clothes, dressing up, waking up early and putting on makeup.
First Look of Day 1
I wanted to wear something that was chic, stylish and at the same time popping. So I decided to take a little risk – from what I usually do – and wore ALL WHITE. Truth be told, it received lots of compliments and photographers’ attention at the shows I went to. I got featured in Noctis Magazine as well!

The first event I went to for LFW was Xu Zhi. They did a presentation. I loved their collection because it was so minimalistic and he incorporated prints into his designs which made it really exciting. Photos are shown below.
The second show I went was probably the prettiest show I’ve been to for LFW this season. It was Bora Aksu. Their collection was filled with ruffles, lace and everything nice. All the colors were pastel and it gave me such happy vibes looking at the show.
Second Look of Day 1
I decided to change my outfit when I had a small little break in between the shows. I went with more of a “grungy” and “rock” look to fit with the next show which was Pam Hogg. I wore a turtle neck underneath a black denim dungaree and topped it off with a teddy coat and wore shiny patent RED boots. I’m never really the one to wear color-popping shoes but it’s LFW so why not go all out (even if I’ll wear the boots once)!
Pam Hogg’s collection was EPIC! Her designs are super out of the box and have that badass feel that EVERYONE loves. Every model that walked on that runway had a “wow” factor.
INIFD – LST Presents Azaad
This show had great makeup and stylists because the models all look so unique. The collection itself is definitely unique and different from other designers.
HKTDC Hong Kong Designers
At 8:30PM I had to attend a late event that was a presentation of Hong Kong designers. I was so happy to attend because they were representative of our Asian fellow designers! I know it sounds cheesy but I love seeing Asian designers incorporating their culture into their designs. I find it fascinating!
I was super tired the next day. I was NOT feeling it at all. I had to skip a show in the morning because I was feeling too tired. I went to 2 shows in the afternoon. That’s why I only had one outfit for this day.
Day 2 Outfit
I wanted to wear tweed at least ONCE during this fashion week. That’s why I wore a tweed co-ord outfit that’s inspired by Chanel. I absolutely love tweed, I think that it makes your outfit so elegant. I went with this tweed co-ord that was from River Island (so much more affordable than Chanel). It’s usually hard to find petite clothing that fits me and thank god River Island did this tweed co-ord in their petite collection. I wore a simple white top inside that had cute ruffles on the neck with straps.

Mimi Tran was absolutely gorgeous! I loved the dresses that were towards the end of the show. And her finale – OMG it was MAGICAL. I also liked how she used different models of all ages to walk the runway – it was truly inspiring.
Malan Breton was totally different from all the other designers this LFW. It had a “goth” and “dark” look that were so strong and fierce! His finale was absolutely an eye-opener. There were male models walking down the runway half naked behind the bride that was wear an all leather black dress with studded cape. Definitely the highlight of that evening!
