The White Turtle Neck

Hello Hello!

Sorry for being MIA again on Saturday and Tuesday, I was celebrating my birthday and recovering from a flu. Now that I’m a bit better, here’s a post for you!

Autumn is officially here in London (for the past week) and the temperature has dropped to 10-12 degrees. THIS is why I got sick. Stupid weather.. Okay, back to the topic. Cold weather screams out turtle necks and warm coats. Today’s all about that turtle neck look.

To be honest, I thought turtle necks looked really weird and old, but now I can’t stop wearing it. With that being said, I’m going to show you two ways on how to wear your white turtle neck.

Layering

The first look is about layering. The colder it is, the more layers you wear. But here’s a trendier version. I think most of you have seen it around, lots of bloggers and fashion brands are starting to wear a shirt underneath a loose camisole shirt or dress. Instead of a t shirt, since it’s getting too cold, I’m wearing a turtle neck instead. I have to improvise with the cold, because after all, it’s London.

This look can be considered semi-formal. So wear this to a normal event or to dinner!

I love my denim jacket, you can literally wear it with anything to turn your outfit from normal to streetwear.

This look is a bit more casual so wear this on a day out shopping or university/school. Because the look is so plain (in terms of color) and simple, you can just wear this look with any color bag you like to color block and have a little fun with your outfit. I chose to wear a black bag because I got lazy to change my bag. hehe don’t mind me.

To be honest, the bag that I use the most is my mini Chanel. It’s super convenient to have a small black bag, you can wear it out to a formal event, casual day out or just to any place. It’s small, lightweight, easy to carry around and looks good with everything. If you guys want me to do a blog post about my favorite bags and such, let me know in the comments!

Sorry again for being MIA! I’ll promise to be better from now on (HOPEFULLY, I have lectures and coursework to do so fingers crossed!). I hope you had fun reading this post as much as I did working on it. Please do give me some more suggestions! I haven’t done the facial care routine like some of you have requested because I actually don’t have a routine…I just use moisturiser when I get dry patches on my face.

Enjoy your day! xx
